How Cordoba Training Center collects, uses and protects your personal data under the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018).

Last reviewed 19 October 2026 · Cordoba Training Center, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain

For review. This text was drafted to meet the structure BQA and the Bahrain PDPL expect. The centre must confirm the specifics - licence numbers, named officers and timescales - before it is treated as final.

1Who we are

Cordoba Training Center is a training provider registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain, at 4th Floor, Office 42 Building, 1226 Road 5124, Manama 351. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

Questions about this policy, or about data we hold on you, go to info@cordobatraining.com or +973 1723 3323.

2What we collect

We collect only what enrolment, certification and funding actually require:

  • Identity — name, CPR number, date of birth, gender, nationality.
  • Contact — mobile number, email address, home address.
  • Education and employment — qualifications, employer, job title, where a course or a funder requires it.
  • Learning records — attendance, assessment marks, submitted work, certificates issued.
  • Documents — CPR copy, certificates and any evidence a funder asks for.

Your CPR number is collected because Tamkeen and the certifying bodies identify learners by it. It is not used for any other purpose.

3Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To deliver your training — performance of our agreement with you.
  • To issue certificates and report attendance — our legitimate interest in running an accredited centre, and the requirements of the certifying bodies.
  • To apply for and account for funding — where you ask us to apply to Tamkeen or an employer on your behalf.
  • To meet regulatory duties — records that BQA, the Ministry of Labour and our awarding bodies require us to keep.
  • To contact you about courses — only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share only where the training itself requires it:

  • Tamkeen — for sponsored learners, the data their application and reporting require.
  • Certifying bodies (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, EC-Council, Pearson VUE) — registration and examination data.
  • BQA and the Ministry of Labour — on lawful request, or as part of a review of the centre.
  • Your employer — where the employer is funding you, limited to attendance and completion.

Some of these bodies are outside Bahrain. Where data leaves the Kingdom we transfer it only to the extent the certification requires, and under the terms those bodies publish for learner data.

5How long we keep it

Learning records, attendance and certificates are kept for the period our awarding bodies and the regulator require, and no longer than necessary after that. Enquiry records from people who did not enrol are deleted within twelve months. Marketing consent is deleted as soon as it is withdrawn.

6How we protect it

Portal accounts are individual and password-protected, and staff see only what their role requires — a trainer sees their own batches, not the whole centre. Documents are held in access-controlled storage and transmitted over encrypted connections. Paper records are kept locked in the centre office.

7Your rights under the PDPL

Under the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law you may:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful reason to hold;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • withdraw consent to marketing at any time.

Write to info@cordobatraining.com and we will respond within the period the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority in Bahrain.

8Changes to this policy

Where we change this policy we update the review date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting current learners are notified through the portal.
