Refund & Cancellation.

What happens to your fee if you withdraw, if a course is postponed, or if the centre cancels — and how sponsored places differ.

Last reviewed 19 October 2026 · Cordoba Training Center, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain

For review. This text was drafted to meet the structure BQA and the Bahrain PDPL expect. The centre must confirm the specifics - licence numbers, named officers and timescales - before it is treated as final.

1Scope

This policy covers fees paid directly to Cordoba Training Center by a learner or an employer. Tamkeen-sponsored places are different — see section 5.

Where a signed training agreement says something different, that agreement governs. This page is the default.

2If you withdraw

Tell us in writing — email or the contact form. The date we receive your notice is the date that counts, not the date you stopped attending.

  1. More than 7 days before the course starts — full refund, less any examination or awarding-body fee already paid on your behalf to a third party.
  2. Within 7 days of the start — 50% of the course fee is refunded. The balance covers the place held, materials issued and scheduling already committed.
  3. On or after the start date — no refund. Materials issued, examination vouchers and licences bought in your name remain yours.

Examination vouchers, licences and awarding-body registrations are non-refundable once purchased, because we cannot recover them.

3If the centre cancels or postpones

We may cancel a batch that does not reach its minimum number, or postpone one for reasons outside our control. If we do, you choose:

  • a full refund of everything paid, including examination fees not yet used; or
  • transfer to the next scheduled batch of the same course at no extra charge; or
  • credit against another course of equal value, valid twelve months.

A refund under this section is paid within 30 days and is never subject to a deduction. Where we postpone, you may treat the postponement as a cancellation and take the refund.

4Transfers between batches

You may move to a later batch of the same course once, free of charge, if you ask more than 7 days before the start. A later request, or a second transfer, is accommodated where the schedule allows and may carry an administration fee. A transfer is not a refund, and the original payment date still governs section 2.

5Tamkeen-sponsored and employer-funded places

Where Tamkeen or an employer pays, no refund is due to the learner, because the learner did not pay the fee. Any adjustment is made between the centre and the funder under their own rules.

Withdrawing from a sponsored course, or failing to meet the 80% attendance requirement, may oblige the funder to recover its contribution, and may affect your eligibility for future sponsorship. Talk to the coordinator before you withdraw.

6Non-attendance without notice

Stopping attendance is not notice of withdrawal. Where a learner simply stops attending and does not respond to contact, the place is treated as taken up and no refund is due.

7How to request a refund, and how to complain

Email info@cordobatraining.com with your name, CPR, course, batch and payment reference. We acknowledge within 3 working days and decide within 10 working days. An approved refund is paid to the original payer, by the original method, within 30 days of approval.

To dispute a refund decision, use the Complaints & Appeals procedure.
